Hensbacka Hotell - Munkedal

We had a lovely stay in a rustic hotel located in the wilderness. Best aspects include very comfortable beds, great restaurant and breakfast options, friendly and helpful staff, and a well-kept park around the hotel for a pleasant walk. we appreciated the pet-friendly attitude and the option to go for a walk in the nearby woods.

Everything was fantastic.

The spacious, well-kept park and surrounding gardens were a charming and jaw-dropping backdrop for this manor house. The option to walk in the forest behind the hotel was mind-blowing. The delicious dinner at the restaurant was super. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The ground floor rooms with outdoor seating were perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Plus, our small dog was warmly welcomed and allowed in the dining area.

The location of this hidden gem is perfect for a relaxing retreat. Situated amongst stunning gardens and surrounded by nature, it's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A delicious dining experience with an extensive menu showcasing local products. the cosy atmosphere was the perfect location to celebrate New Year's Eve with loved ones. Plus, the helpful staff was always available to assist with any requests.

The breakfast lacked variety and could have been better. Although the rooms were clean and well-equipped, the walls were quite thin and noise travels easily.

We recently stayed at Hensbacka Herrgard for a few nights during our trip to Sweden. The surrounding park and gardens were beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful and spacious retreat. We loved that we could take our dog for walks in the nearby forest, and the ground floor bedroom in the outbuilding was perfect for us. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delicious dinner options. The location was also great, with easy access to the highway and a serene countryside atmosphere.

Nestled in the midst of nature, the hotel offers a peaceful and serene environment to unwind and relax. It's conveniently located near the freeway, making it easily accessible. the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and the bed was cozy and comfortable. the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, perfect for starting the day on a high note. the large park around the property is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and the surrounding gardens are well-kept.

There were a few areas where improvements could be made.

The town was lovely and close to the coast, perfect for a seaside city break. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including pancakes and eggs.

The room was tiny, and there were no coat hangers or hooks for jackets. The walls were thin, allowing all the noise from other rooms to be heard.

This hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, with old trees and the chance to spot moose. The staff provides very nice service and the food in the evenings is warm and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a soft bed for a good night's sleep. The breakfast includes fresh fruit and bread, along with the standard spread of eggs, meats, and cheeses.

The public area near the rooms can get loud if a group is having fun there.

my recent stay at a lovely farm in Munkedal was delightful, but my experience at Hensbacka Herrgard was even better. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The meals were delicious, especially the dinner which rivaled a fine restaurant. I couldn't get enough of the beautiful surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed my three days there.
